Passengers with children at Turkish airports will be served without queues

Turkey One of the first countries in Europe to provide priority access to services at public airports for pregnant women and passengers with young children.

The State Administration of Airports of Turkey (DHMİ) has announced the launch of a service system for social categories of passengers – disabled and people with disabilities, passengers with young children and pregnant women.

These passengers will have priority, which is to quickly pass pre-flight procedures: people will be able to be the first to hand over baggage, issue boarding passes, pass passport control, go for boarding.

The possibility of organizing separate registration desks and passport control booths for them, parking lots of vehicles is being considered.

It will also provide disabled citizens with wheelchairs and other services that are required by social categories of tourists.

Representatives of DMC-companies of Turkey believe that the first new airport of Istanbul will introduce this service in the winter - in this transport hub there are logistical and technical opportunities for the implementation of service.

It is not yet clear how the process of servicing tourists of these categories will be organized at resort airports.
