Listed the most popular sights of Russia 2018
Analytical Agency “Turstat” has prepared a rating of the most popular attractions this year Russia. The top was formed on the basis of the attendance of iconic places by travelers.
The five leaders are “distributed” in many regions of Russia – from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Siberia.
In the top five is the capital's Red Square (MoscowPeterhof in St. Petersburg, Kazan KremlinKazan), the Trinity-Sergius Lavra in Sergiev Posad of the Moscow region and Lake Baikal (Irkutsk region and Buryatia).
According to the agency, more than 20 million tourists saw Red Square in Moscow in 2018. The Peterhof Museum in St. Petersburg was visited by 5 million people. 3 million people came to the Kazan Kremlin.
Trinity-Sergiev Lavra and Lake Baikal this year saw 2 million tourists.
