Listed promising destinations for domestic tourism in the Russian Federation

Infrastructure of some regions, which were previously not popular with tourists, is now growing.

This was told by the head of the competition “Masters of hospitality” Evgeny Malygin.

We are talking about the Republic of Tuva, Buryatia and Udmurtia, Samara and Murmansk regions.

The tourist flow to the Siberian Republic of Tuva is growing at some crazy pace. The complex ecosystem of the republic includes deserts, steppes, alpine meadows, tundra, taiga, glaciers.

The expert drew attention to the untouched nature of the region, biosphere reserves and excellent fishing. He recalled that the Republic of Tyva is a favorite region for vacations of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the Republic of Buryatia, pilgrimage, ecological, ethnographic tourism, alpine skiing and tours are actively developing, which are dedicated to national cuisine.

The expert noted the Buddhist culture, which is still new to travelers, Sayana, mineral springs.

The head of the competition “Masters of Hospitality” recommended tourists to pay attention to Udmurtia as a center of historical and cultural tourism. He cited the example of the National Museum named after Kuzebay Gerda, people’s poet of Udmurtia, and sights Izhevsk.

The Murmansk region is in demand among connoisseurs of life in nature, and the main feature of the region is the northern lights.

According to E. Malygin, the second life in tourism of the Samara region was breathed by the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
