The first female gondolier

For the first time in history, a woman became a gondolier on the world-famous canals of Venice, thus ending the dominance of men in this profession. She became Jordana Boscolo, at the age of 24 she brings up two children and successfully passes exams in a special school of gondoliers. And recently Jordana was included in the official list of gondoliers of Venice. Enrolling in special school a year ago, she finished last, beating a male competitor. I am very glad that the admissions committee did not give preference to a man. Perhaps influenced by the fact that Jordan decided to continue the family tradition, because her father almost lived in a gondola. It is funny that even now he considers the craft chosen by his daughter to be exclusively a male profession. From now on, Jordan will be replaced by colleagues who took sick leave and work in the parking lots of water taxis. Only by acquiring her own gondola, a woman can become a full-fledged gondolier.
