The first fan of the Russian football team took advantage of the Aeroflot campaign - bought a ticket on the route Novosibirsk - Moscow - Novosibirsk for 10 rubles.
According to the airline, more than 2 thousand applications for tickets at a special fan rate have been received on the special website of the Roscongress Foundation. When will be considered and how many of them will bring fans a ticket, it is not said.
Aeroflot introduced a special tariff on January 1. The company notes that the action is arranged for the guaranteed availability of the 2018 World Cup games for fans of Russia. To buy a ticket at the fare, you need a Russian passport, a personalized viewer card (fan passport) and a ticket to the competition with the participation of the Russian national football team.
Players of the tour market believe that with the help of the promotion it will be possible to reduce unreasonably inflated prices for air tickets during the World Cup. At the same time, experts say that the carrying capacity of the national carrier in the time available for promotion may not cope with the requests of fans. It is also not clear whether there will be restrictions on the number of seats for 5 rubles on each particular flight. The head of “Aeroflot” Saveliev promises that the company will sell about 70 thousand seats at 5 rubles, but these figures will grow if the national team gets into the playoffs.
