The first domestic cruise ship will go into navigation in 2019
The first Russian ship for cruises on the Caspian Sea will be launched in navigation 2019. This information was reported by the United Shipbuilding Corporation, a liner is being built at its Lotus shipyard in Astrakhan.
The vessel of the project PV300VD (capacity of 300 passengers) was laid down in August 2016, the start of construction was given by the President of the Russian Federation V. Putin. The liner with four decks will be an analogue of "import" cruise floating hotels, on board are planned restaurants, gyms, spas, saunas. The construction was ordered by the Moscow River Shipping Company, the project price is approximately 2.5 billion rubles.
Currently, the technical readiness of the hull of the cruise ship is 93%. In Astrakhan, the manufacture and installation of pipeline systems, foundations for equipment, the manufacture of electrical saturation, the installation of business items of the vessel is carried out. In the final, it will be necessary to install mechanisms, ship devices, electrical mechanics.
