Russia's first tourist liner "Peter the Great" launched

At the shipyard of the plant "Lotus" (Astrakhan) was the ceremony of launching a five-star cruise liner "Peter the Great" (the first in the history of Russian shipbuilding).

The “Godmother” of the ship was the Director of navigation on the inland waterways of the Russian Chamber of Shipping Anna Isayeva – according to maritime tradition, she broke a bottle of champagne on board the ship, which promises the giant ship a long and prosperous life.

The laying of the keel of the tourist ship took place in June 2016, the length of the vessel is more than 140 m, the width is 16 m, the height of the sides is 5.5 m.
