Holiday plans: how much money are Russians willing to spend?
Russians expect to pay 60 thousand rubles for one person on a trip abroad and 40 thousand for a tour of their native state. This information is provided by the National Agency for Financial Research (NAFI).
Every third Russian plans to travel abroad in the next year, every second in Russia. For foreign holidays are ready to give about 60 thousand rubles per person, and for domestic – about 40 thousand.
33% of compatriots want to vacation abroad this year. Muscovites and residents of St. Petersburg (52%) are more likely than residents of other cities to express a dream to spend a vacation in another country. Among the villagers, foreign recreation is not excluded by 24%. Young people 18 years old - 34 years old (44-46%) - potential tourists among respondents of this age group against 15-35% of Russians of other ages.
61.13 rubles can be paid by Russians for a foreign tour. Every tenth believes that spending will not exceed 40 Tr. per person.
58% of Russians do not exclude that the holiday will be held in Russia, 65% of them are residents of megacities with a population of a million or more. The average check for possible spending on domestic tourism is 40.49 thousand rubles per person, 28% of Russians hope to give no more than 40 thousand rubles for trips to their homeland.
Research Director of NAFI Timur Aimaletdinov believes that “The first step should be serious information work, promotion of active recreation and tourism, the benefits of investing in new knowledge and impressions. The fight against stereotypes about the high cost of travel, underdeveloped infrastructure within the country is the first step towards economic growth in the transport and tourism industry.
