Beach library

A library appeared on the Odessa beach of the 16th station of the Bolshoi Fountain. This small shelf of books, of course, looks very modest, but it is very popular. All visitors are offered a choice of about a thousand books of different publications. And this service is absolutely free. It is also surprising that the books taken are not followed in any way, relying on the conscientiousness of vacationers. This was confirmed by the words of one of the organizers of the project Sergey Kosodoubsky, who stated that the library will be looked after at night by beach workers, and in the daytime this duty will be taken up only by volunteers. The extraordinary popularity of the library (the queue for books is built in the morning) causes the soon opening of similar institutions on other beaches of Odessa.
