Tour operator TUI Russia launches a charter program in Sheregesh on November 27. 20 flights are planned, on which the tour operator expects to send 3.2 thousand tourists. The Governor of the Kemerovo region Sergey Tsivilev said that he expects an increase in the number of tourists for the winter season by 10%.
Rostourism subsidizes half the cost of charter flights to the regions, which allows tour operators to offer tours cheaper than on regular flights.

Deputy Director of TUI Russia Alexander Sirchenko added that thanks to the support of Rostourism, the tour operator managed to increase sales of tours in Russia in some directions by 10 times or more.
“In the context of the pandemic, domestic tourism had a chance. Not only because borders are closed, but also because there has never been such a state focus on the industry. Domestic tourism is growing at a good pace ..., he said.
The Sheregesh program won't be the only one. It will be Sakhalin, Buryatia will begin in February. Before the New Year, programs will begin from Moscow to Tyumen, Kazan, we are considering the possibility of charters to the Murmansk region. The proposal of the Committee for the Development of Tourism of St. Petersburg and the administration of the Tyumen region on the setting of charters from St. Petersburg to Tyumen is also under consideration, Sirchenko said.
For 2022, TUI Russia plans to expand the volume of sales of tours in Russia twice compared to 2020.
