Why are trips to Turkey expensive?
Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, said that the rest in the country Turkey In 2019, it will rise in price for Russian tourists by an average of 15%.
According to the expert, the citizens of our country will have to pay more because of European travelers and because of their high demand for the destination.
The main reason for the growth of prices for accommodation in Turkey in the season - 2019 - increased interest in the direction from European markets. The tourist flow to the resorts of the Republic of Turkey has already significantly increased the UK, France, Germany, Italy.
Consequently, hoteliers in Turkey can no longer consider Russians as exceptional guests and do not provide preferences and discounts.
Another reason for the increase in prices is that the Russians themselves formed a record flow of tourists for Turkey. Turks saw crowded hotels in 2018, and revised accommodation prices in the new season. Therefore, holidays in popular resorts of the country in 2019 became more expensive by 15% on average and up to 30% for a number of hotels.
“Prices change every day. I would recommend tourists who want to relax in Turkey, do not delay the decision, advises Maya Lomidze.
