Preparation for the 2012 Summer Olympics

In two months, the Olympic flame will begin its two-month journey from Lands End, the westernmost point of England, to London, to the new Olympic Stadium. The opening ceremony marks the end of a nearly 10-year process since London applied to host the Olympics in 2003. Since then, authorities and businesses have been actively building new facilities and renovating old ones. Of course, not only London, but also athletes are preparing for this event.
