Details about the resort fee in Russia: levied from May 1
In the state Duma revealed details in which regions from may 1, 2018 will begin a pilot project to levy a resort fee from guests of the regions. The corresponding message appeared on the website of the lower house of the Federal Assembly.
The experimental fee will be charged in the Republic of Crimea, in the Altai and Krasnodar territories, in the Stavropol region from May 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022.
“It will be possible to assess its effectiveness during this time. By the way, the experiment will not be conducted throughout the region, but in individual municipalities. The list of specific areas in which the resort fee will be charged will be determined by local laws.”
It is noted that due to the World Cup, the resort camp in the Krasnodar Territory will begin to take from July 16. In Crimea, the resort fee will be charged from May 1 to September 30, and from October 1 to December 31 it will not be necessary to pay.
In accordance with the law, in 2018, the size of the resort fee will not exceed 50 rubles per person. Then set a limit of 100 rubles. Each region participating in the experiment independently determines the amount of the resort fee. The Altai Territory set the size of the resort fee in the amount of 30 r. / day. 10 r/day will have to pay guests of the Crimea and Krasnodar region. Tourists in the Stavropol Territory - 50 p.
Officials report that local residents, minor children, homeowners, pensioners, heroes of Russia and the USSR, participants of the Great Patriotic War, the disabled, the poor, students will not have to pay. It is noted that each region can expand the list of categories of citizens exempt from collection.
