The average amount of actual spending of a traveler from Russia in foreign trips increased by 7% compared to 2017.
This information is transmitted by the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation, citing information from Ipsos Comcon.
In 2018, a citizen of the Russian Federation spent an average of 58,230 RUB on a foreign trip against 54,230 RUB in 2017. Experts say that 52% of Russians spent 1.5-2 weeks traveling. 81% of tourists stayed in hotels.
