The Ambassador of Egypt to Russia answered the question about the timing of the start of flights
Ihab Nasr, Egypt’s ambassador to Moscow, said there were no specific dates for the resumption of charter flights between Egypt and Russia, but the issue would be resolved soon.
Thus, the diplomat answered the question whether it is possible to restore charter flights in July.
“I would not speak of a specific deadline. The decision was made by the president in April. We are working hard to implement this decision soon.”
On June 8, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov instructed the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Federal Air Transport Agency to work out the issue of forming a schedule of flights between Russia and Egyptian resorts by July 1.
On June 2, the director of the tour operator Tez Tour Voskan Arzumanov said that the demand for tours to Egypt with departure from Moscow in the event of the start of air traffic with the resorts of the country will grow by 1000-1300%.
