Affected customers of "Lanta Tour Voyage" will receive only half of the money

Ingosstrakh will pay the affected customers of the tour operator Lanta Tour Voyage, which suspended its activities in January, only half the cost of failed tours.

As of the morning of March 26, the company received 2,759 documented claims against 6202 tourists of the tour operator Lanta Tour Voyage for a total of 192,795,560 rubles. That is, the amount of financial guarantees of 100 million rubles exceeded almost twice. Thus, customers of the tour operator who submitted applications to the insurance company will receive a little more than 51% of the cost of paid tours.

According to RATA-News, this coefficient may still decrease - if by March 28, namely, before this date Ingosstrakh intends to accept applications, more documents for damages will be submitted. From March 29, transfers of funds on bank details submitted to the insurance company will begin.
