Dedicated to Jimi Hendrix

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the death of the great American musician Jimi Hendrix, the exhibition Hendrix In Britain opened in London. It is located in Hendrix’s apartment and allows you to fully trace the path of the ascent of the guitarist to the heights of fame. Jimmy, along with his girlfriend Katie Etchingham in 1968, stopped at the apartment on the top floor in a house on Brook Street. This was the first home of the musician. The exhibition will feature handwritten drafts of some songs, Hendrix’s world-famous jacket and hat, his self-portrait, and some recordings of the 1970 Isle of Wight music festival (Jimi Hendrix performed there just a month before his death). The exhibition will include master classes on guitar and other musical events. The ticket price is $8.
