The rules of entry to Thailand from 1 may updated: how to get into the country?

The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Phuket reports that citizens who have had a coronavirus and are vaccinated with at least one dose of the drug are considered fully vaccinated with a medical certificate of the disease.

Vaccination certificates with two doses of Sputnik V are accepted without taking into account the date of their issuance (prescription period).

“Fullly vaccinated against coronavirus are foreign nationals who have been vaccinated with two doses of these drugs (BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Covilo, Sputnik V, Covaxin, Novavax, Medigen, no later than 14 days before travel. As an exception, the list includes one-component Janssen. Citizens vaccinated with Sputnik Light are not considered fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Since May 1, the Thai authorities have simplified entry rules for vaccinated and unvaccinated tourists. From this date, vaccinated tourists do not need to undergo PCR testing on arrival to enter Thailand, and unvaccinated tourists have the opportunity not to comply with quarantine by passing a PCR test before traveling.

Children under 12 years of age are allowed to enter Thailand unaccompanied by adults with a full vaccination certificate. If there is no document, then entry is possible only accompanied by fully vaccinated parents.

Children 12-17 years old can enter unaccompanied adults with a certificate of vaccination with at least one dose of coronavirus drug no later than 14 days before travel.
