Government to consider summer cashback initiative for motorists
The proposal of the State Duma deputies to develop a summer cashback for trips to the south by their own cars was received by the Cabinet Office and sent for consideration to the relevant ministries.
Vice-speakers of the State Duma Sergey Neverov, Sholban Kara-ool and Vladislav Davankov earlier appealed to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with an initiative on road cashback for trips to the south in their own cars.
Deputies proposed to reimburse travel on toll roads in full for pensioners, large families and other social categories, and all the rest – to return 20%.
The press service of the government noted: "The letter was received by the government of the Russian Federation and was sent for consideration in the prescribed manner in the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Labor, Rosturizm, the Ministry of Finance."
