The Russian government has approved an action plan to implement the strategy for the development of tourism in Russia until 2035.
The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin.
The government press service reports that the plan includes more than 65 events and a set of measures of state support for the industry.
Among them are the financing of regions for the development of tourist clusters, preferential lending of investment projects for the creation of tourist infrastructure, the allocation of grants to business for the construction and reconstruction of hotels, support for the development of rural and ecological tourism.
It is planned to repair cultural institutions, open new exhibitions, create an attractive tourist environment in the centers of historical cities.
In museums, multimedia guides will appear, with the help of which you can get acquainted with the exhibits using augmented reality technology.
