The Government of the Russian Federation awarded awards to tourist projects
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on awarding government awards in the field of tourism for 2021.
The press service of the Russian government reports that the awards were awarded to initiatives from different regions.
- Recreation without borders for people with disabilities
- The project for the development of tourist territories "It's time to travel around Russia",
- Vulcanarium Museum in Kamchatka,
- the project "Buryatia is more than Baikal", aimed at promoting regional tours,
- Digital projects for tourists and tourism business "Know Ours",
- RussiaTravel.club and other initiatives.
Prize winners will receive honorary badges, diplomas and a reward of 1 million rubles.
The winners were determined based on the results of the selection, which was handled by a special interdepartmental council. The selection took into account the social and economic importance of the project, its contribution to the development of tourism and the hospitality industry.
