Holidays in November: tour operators record demand for tours to Egypt
On a long holiday weekend in November, Russians bought up almost all the seats in expensive hotels in Egypt.

Let me remind you that charters to Egypt will be launched only from November 9, said Maya Lomidze, Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
She stressed that flights to Egypt for the November holidays are 75% full. “It will not help to close the shortage of seats for the peak period and the recent decision of the Ministry of Tourism of Egypt to abolish the limit of hotel occupancy. From October 21, Egyptian hotels are allowed to operate with 100% occupancy instead of 70%.
Egypt became the most popular destination for the November weekend among Russians. Most often, fellow citizens book tours for 7-10 nights in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada.
