The demand for travel in Russia increases every year, and the development of tourism has a positive impact on the budgets of the regions of the country.
On June 10, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin said this in his welcoming video message to the participants of the V International Tourism Forum “Travel!”.
According to the Prime Minister, despite the sanctions, more than 9 million foreign tourists came to Russia.
Mishustin stressed that the development of tourism in the country has a positive impact on related industries, such as transport, catering, construction, light industry, furniture, buses, cable cars and other equipment.
He noted that this trend was creating new jobs, including in rural areas and remote areas.
