The development project of the Nizhny Tagil Museum-Reserve “Gornozavodsk Ural” will be presented at Innoprom
The project of creating a museum complex on the basis of the Nizhny Tagil museum-reserve "Gornozavodskaya Ural" will be shown to visitors of the exhibition of industry and innovations "Innoprom" in July this year in Yekaterinburg, the information policy department of the governor told the EAN agency. Thus, the museum employees hope to attract investors to the project.
This was discussed on May 31 during the visit of Governor Alexander Misharin to the Cherepanov House - a branch of the Gornozavodsk Ural Museum-Reserve.
The Museum of the History of Technology in Nizhny Tagil occupies a building that is an architectural monument of the 19th century. Once in this house lived the famous Tagil inventors, the creators of the first Russian locomotive Efim and Miron Cherepanov.
Now the museum works not only as an exhibition, people who are fond of the history of the highway often gather here, there are clubs for children. The museum, in addition to the Cherepanov House, includes the old Demidov factory. It is located in the center of Nizhny Tagil, covers an area of 30 hectares and has more than 50 workshops, half of which are operating. The plant, which recently bore the name of Kuibyshev, is a monument of industrial heritage.
Employees of the Nizhny Tagil museum proposed to the head of the region to recreate in its place the whole museum complex, divided into three zones. Some of them will be devoted to the history of mining in the Urals, the other will issue historical and modern production facilities, and another part will be devoted to innovative technologies of today. It is planned that the project will be presented at the exhibition Innoprom-2011. Marina Kolesnikova, European-Asian News.
