Forecast: what will be the prices for holidays in Turkey in 2022?
Tour operator Tez Tour expects to send a million tourists to Turkey in 2022, and prices for vacations, according to preliminary forecasts, will remain the same as in 2021.
The summer season of 2021 proved to be very successful for Turkey, despite the ban on flights from mid-April to the end of June. After the resumption of flights with Turkish resorts on tours to the country established a rush demand. In our company, 70% of applications for the year fall on this direction, the press service said.
Turkey was the only affordable mass charter destination due to the affordable cost of hotel stays and inexpensive transportation.
According to preliminary forecasts, there will be no sharp changes in the price level in the summer season 2022. The main factor of price changes, as this year, will remain the level of loading of each specific accommodation facility. The vast majority of hotel contracts for next year have already been signed, and in early October we launched early bookings for summer 2022. Discounts on shares currently reach 60%, the demand primarily falls on expensive hotels in the regions of Belek and Kemer.
As the past summer season showed, the preferences of Russian tourists planning a holiday in Turkey changed during the pandemic: interest in secluded hotels and private formats of accommodation increased: villas, suites.
The tour operator observes a decrease in the average check in Turkey by 15.5%. If in 2020 it amounted to 61 020 rubles, then last season – 51 504 rubles. The leader among the Turkish resorts of Alanya.
