The youth tourism program will be expanded

The Russian government is ready to work on expanding the youth tourism program.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko took part in a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the ANO “Russia – Land of Opportunities”, where he reported to President Vladimir Putin on the implementation of the program “More than a journey” and reported on its possible expansion.

" Vladimir Vladimirovich, if you instruct us to scale, we will gladly work through this issue. It is necessary to determine the parameters, because they equal money, how much additional funding is needed.”

In 2022, 155 universities from 98 cities of Russia take part in the program. You can go on a trip not only in the summer, but also during the school year.

Participants are given a choice of three routes: popular science, career-oriented and cultural and cognitive. For travelers, group trips are provided - encouragement from the university and individual travel.
