Direct flights Moscow - Myanmar to be launched in 2025
Direct flights from Moscow to Myanmar will begin in 2025, according to the foreign Minister of the Republic Tan Svei.
The countries are expected to introduce visa-free travel soon. Since 2023, there has been a direct connection between Mandalay, Myanmar’s second largest city, and Novosibirsk. Russian tourists can visit the republic without a visa for up to 30 days, Izvestia TV channel reports.
The country accepts cards “the World”, which allows tourists to pay in hotels and shops, said the Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov. Tourism in Myanmar is not mass and is a narrow segment direction. It is also worth noting that the country is under martial law.
