Travelers talk about their favorite activities on the beach
British research company Daily Mail commissioned by the National Tourism Organisation of Scotland surveyed 2,103 travellers.
One participant could be given several answers, and here are the most popular.
Nearly half of those surveyed loved listening to the noise of the sea. A further 62% said they enjoyed eating fresh fish at seaside resorts, and 61% said they appreciated being able to relax and enjoy daily life.
Sitting on the beach and eating ice cream is loved by 57% of respondents. The same number noted that they feel happy when they walk along the promenade by the sea.
38% of respondents said they like to sunbathe.
