Early booking for the New Year: routes and destinations
Russians prefer to book holidays within the country in advance, more than 80% of the volume of early bookings of Russians for the New Year holidays fall on the Russian Federation.
“Early booking has begun. Quite actively and objectively early booking today is Russia. We can say that over 80% of the total is Russia.”
According to the expert, early bookings for the New Year holidays are mainly in the north of the country, and the ski cluster “from Sakhalin and Kamchatka, ending with Murmansk”.
Regarding foreign destinations, the situation is as follows: “...In our country, we understand perfectly well that if some regions introduce certain tougher measures, nevertheless, administrative borders will not close between regions within the country <...> we constantly hear that there will be no lockdowns in our country.”
