River cruises can be launched for Russians in late June

River cruise navigation travel companies "River Alliance" - tour operators "Vodohod", "Mosturflot" and "Constellation" are going to open in the third decade of June.

Currently, Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation are preparing recommendations for the introduction of additional sanitary and epidemiological measures on ships for 2020.

“River Alliance companies are going to open navigation in the third decade of June and gradually put the fleet into operation in compliance with all the regulations of regulatory and supervisory bodies,” the press service of Mosturflot noted.

According to available information, the routes of the first flights are now in the process of discussion, but there is already a decision that they will begin in the third decade of June.

The cost of river cruises has hardly changed compared to 2019. The percentage of ships filled by tourists is quite high and reaches 70-80% in July and August. “Tourists whose flights were cancelled could exchange a ticket for any flight of this navigation or the next.
