Reconstruction of Paulus' captivity

The Battle of Stalingrad is the most important turning point during the Second World War, but few people know that it began with an equally significant victory - with the surrender of the 6th Wehrmacht Army. History lovers and those who are not indifferent to the upbringing of patriotism in the hearts of the current generation, according to military archives, have repeatedly restored the events of January 31, 1943 in the city of Volgograd. After all, it was then that Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus surrendered.

On January 29 at 13.00, 2012, in the floodplain of the Tsaritsa River, thanks to which previously the city of Volgograd was a city called Tsaritsyn, in the unfinished building of the Marjatnik, an exciting and realistic military-historical reconstruction of the capture of Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus and his staff (6th Army of the Wehrmacht) will take place.

Organize this event VROO military-historical club "Infantryman", GKU VO "Volgogradpatriotcenter". This event will be attended by about 70 activists who are representatives of military-historical clubs of the Volgograd region, as well as members of search teams of the organization VMROO “Search”.

Thanks to these events, a complete picture of military events, the war, its dirt and tears is formed.

No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten.

With best wishes,
