Rosaviatsia increased demand for Turkey
The lifting of Rosaviatsiya’s warning about possible restrictions on charter flights to Antalya will increase demand for this Turkish resort and the entire Turkish Republic. Tour operators began to put additional flights.
“Tourist demand for a destination depends to a large extent on its positive or negative developments. The cancellation of the last of all the warnings of Rosaviatsia for charter carriers concerning Turkey will be positively received by tourists and will increase demand for this country. Demand can increase by 20% or more. Already today, tour operators put additional flights to Antalya – only on June 1-2, 9 new charter flights were delivered, in the coming days this number will grow, said Olga Gulyar, Director of the Winter-Summer Group of Companies.
Sales of tours to Turkey have recovered. This direction became the most popular for the May holidays and the summer due to the large number of flights and low prices (the cost of the ticket starts from 30 thousand rubles per person). There are already sales for the autumn season, their depth reaches October.
In early May, after a meeting and negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Turkey, Rosaviatsiya canceled a warning about a possible restriction of charter flights between the two countries. The warning remained valid only for Antalya airport, but was lifted on May 30.
