Rosaviatsia recommends airlines to carry people around closed southern airports

Rosaviatsia recommends airlines to offer passengers alternative routes, bypassing temporarily closed southern airports.

Passengers planning to arrive or depart from the airports of Bryansk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Kursk and Lipetsk are recommended to be delivered to the airports of Moscow.

Those who were going to fly to/from Simferopol, Gelendzhik, Anapa and Krasnodar are recommended to be taken to Sochi; those who planned to fly to/from Rostov-on-Don and Elista to Volgograd, Stavropol or Mineralnye Vody.

Rosaviatsia has adjusted the list of airports, the work of which is suspended until March 2: instead of Stavropol in the list – Lipetsk. Other closed air harbors: Gelendzhik, Simferopol, Elista, Anapa, Krasnodar, Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don.

Other Russian airports, including international ones, operate normally.

The airlines are instructed to arrange a refund for tickets or give the opportunity to rebook tickets for subsequent dates or alternative routes.

Airlines are recommended to issue tickets for flights of other carriers in the presence of free seats using the FIM (Flight Interruption Manifest) mechanism.

The Agency asks passengers of canceled flights not to arrive at the airports and to follow the information about changes in the schedule and the status of flights on the electronic resources of airlines and airports.
