Russian officials will be discouraged from resting in “sanctioned” states

The business community recommends that Russian officials and parliamentarians do not go on vacation to “sanctioned” states, and they want to dismiss civil servants for non-compliance with the norm. The initiative is contained in a proposal sent to the speakers of the Federation Council and the State Duma Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin.

Business representatives are sure that in countries that are hostile to Russia, officials who have come to rest will be pressured, and foreign special services will be interested in them. Businessmen want to prescribe the necessary norms in the legislation.

Rahman Yansukov, head of the Association of Entrepreneurs for the Development of Business Patriotism "Avanti" is sure that civil servants have always sought to preserve and develop their homeland. Civil servants should be an example for the behavior of ordinary citizens, and their work is aimed at the development of the Fatherland.

This rule applies to the behavior of civil servants in ordinary life, i.e. it is unacceptable when domestic officials spend their holidays in countries that have imposed economic, political and “cultural” sanctions against Russia.

Also, this issue becomes relevant in connection with the presence of Russian officials of foreign real estate. “There is a situation in which the budgetary money of the Russian Federation, paid as wages to civil servants, is directed to the development of the foreign education system and the tourism industry.”

Rahman Yansukov notes that most property and land are purchased in Germany, Spain and Italy – countries that from the very beginning participated in the economic and sanctions wars against Russia. The children of some high-ranking federal officials live and study abroad for a long time.

“Children of officials abroad are an effective lever of pressure on their parents.”

Yansukov is sure that the security system in Europe has repeatedly demonstrated its unsuitability, and the growth of terrorism contributes to the growth of risks to the life and health of Russians.
In Russia, it is now forbidden to travel to certain categories of civil servants abroad. Since 2014, employees of domestic law enforcement agencies are not allowed to travel to NATO countries, these are Europe, the United States, Australia and Japan - more than 120 countries.

Businessmen are confident that the initiative will increase the security of Russians and save officials from provocations by foreigners.
