Russian Travelers Distributed by Age
A survey of the service OneTwoTrip revealed the age preferences of Russians. Prague, Tbilisi, Barcelona – “top-3”, which in Russia “all ages are submissive”.
All three age groups – travelers between the ages of 18 and 24, 25 to 45, and over 45 – place the cities in the top three places on the list, but the youth give first place to Prague, and the older age groups to Tbilisi.
For beach holidays, preferences diverged: tourists for 45 years choose the “beach classics”: Antalya, Tivat, Alicante, Burgas, Thessaloniki, Nice.
Young people go to Bali, not to Turkey, and agree to relax in the capitals – Paris, Rome, Athens, London. Turkey was not included in the group’s preference list. Bali is considered one of the key destinations, located on the fourth line of the top.

Teplov, Marketing Director of OneTwoTrip: “Each age group has its own characteristics associated with planning a summer vacation <...> young people perceive travel as an adventure Russians over 45 years old choose a quiet summer vacation ...” The top 3 rankings are almost identical for all age groups. This suggests that Prague, Barcelona and Tbilisi are the undisputed favorites of this year.
Top 3 rating of Russian cities is stable: Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg It is interesting for travelers of any age. Rest in Anapa, Gelendzhik, Mineral waters is chosen by people over 25 years old.
