Russia ready to simplify visa regime for organized travelers
In the section of the passport of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, it is reported that Russia is going to simplify the process of obtaining visas for certain types of organized tourist trips, among them: medical, educational, business, sports, cultural.
Among the measures being developed are the widespread use of electronic visas, rapid processing of documents. Changes will be made before July 1, 2019.
It is envisaged to reduce to three working days the period for issuing single- and double-entry visas for the purposes of travel “treatment” and “special cases”, if the applicant gives documents on the need for urgent entry into the Russian Federation.
On February 15, it was reported that business is ready to invest 12 trillion rubles in national projects - investment applications are already ready. This was announced by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. 26 trillion rubles should be allocated for the implementation of national projects.
