Russia and Greece continue mutual support in the tourism industry
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis agreed to support the development of tourism.
“We agreed with the Prime Minister to support the development of tourism, given that Greece, its historical sights, cultural and religious monuments, as well as resorts are very popular among Russian citizens,” Putin said at a press conference after talks with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Until mid-2022, the cross year of the history of Russia and Greece will be held. “The events of the year, with a total of over 140, are of great interest. We agreed to continue the practice of holding thematic years that have proved so well now, Putin said.
