Russia and UAE cancel visas
Governments Russian Federation and United Arab Emirates On July 6, a document on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of these countries was prepared.
Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, is confident that the document will create additional pleasant conditions for the growth of tourist flow between the states. Denis Manturov adds that a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the tourism industry was additionally prepared.
Over 750 thousand Russian tourists visited the UAE, whose contribution to the economy of this country exceeded $2.3 billion. We also expect an increase in the number of tourists.”
Travel professionals see the situation differently. The signed document did not bring serious changes for Russians – our compatriots have been processing documents at the entrance to the UAE for free since winter 2017.
If we talk about tourists from the UAE, then we do not have to wait for a serious increase in their travel to the Russian Federation.
