“Russia is a country of opportunities”: announced a new cashback for schoolchildren and students
On May 26, Deputy Head of Rostourism Elena Lysenkova told the details of the implementation of a new tourist cashback program – this time for schoolchildren and students who take part in the project “Russia is a country of opportunities”.
2 billion rubles were allocated for the program.
Rosturizm with the National Payment Card System, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, developed a cashback program for schoolchildren and students who won the Olympiads, youth creative initiatives organized by the ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”. The project is currently in the final stage of preparation.
Preliminary dates for the action: from July 1 to November 30.
Special tourist cashback for schoolchildren and students who won competitions and Olympiads will be annual.
In the new promotion, the terms and cost of tours are limited (a weekend trip - up to 10 thousand rubles, a trip for a week - up to 36 thousand rubles). The percentage of return compared to previous cashback promotions will be increased – cashback is expected at 50% (but not more than 18 thousand rubles) for weekend tours and 70% (but not more than 25 thousand rubles) for a week trip.
Another important difference is that cashback can only be obtained from package tours.
We do not mean participation in the hotel program, we are talking about tourism products. Tour operators registered in the Unified Federal Register and electronic systems of aggregators of tourist services can participate in the program. All regions of the Russian Federation can participate, explained Ms. Lysenkova.
Payment for the tour, as in previous promotions with cashback, will be possible only online and only by card of the payment system "Mir".
According to preliminary data, the number of participants in the program this year may be about 300 thousand people, with an approximate ratio of schoolchildren and students - 50/50.
Accurate data on the number and regions are not yet available, as the winners will be selected only in early July. As for escorts for groups, they will not be able to receive cashback for a trip under the program.
