Russia will soon introduce “tax fries”

The head of the Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov told TASS that in the near future in Russia may be decided to introduce a tax free system.

All the necessary documents have been submitted to the Ministry of Finance, and a decision will be made in the near future, since all the decisions pre-launching the system have already been made.

First of all, “tax free” will start working in a number of test regions, which are popular with tourists. The pilot regions will be Moscow.
St. Petersburg and Sochi. If the system proves viable, it will be extended to the entire country.

Tax free is a partial VAT refund for goods purchased and exported from the country. For example, in Europe, a tax free check is issued when buying. Goods are usually packed and sealed. In order to obtain investigations on the check, goods are presented at the border unpacked. The check is marked and you can take the money at the cash register.
