Russians need to register on trips to the cities of the 2018 World Cup
From May 25 to July 25, residents of the Russian Federation need to make a temporary registration for trips to those cities that will host the World Cup matches.
The decree on mandatory temporary registration of all those who came to the cities of the World Cup is relevant from May 12, 2018. If a citizen does not have a permanent residence permit, then within three days from the moment of arrival he should approach the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the MFC.
Usually people are registered when they live in a foreign region for more than 90 days.
For registration of temporary registration, Russians need to present an application, passport and document that will confirm temporary residence, for example, an apartment lease agreement. The state fee for registration of the certificate is not taken. Citizens of foreign countries must register within three days.
Registration is not required in collective accommodation facilities - hotels, boarding houses and sanatoriums.
Registration rules are tightened from May 25 to July 25.
