Russians with vaccinations may be allowed to travel to Israel
Israeli Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov presented a new plan for the return of tourists. Russians with the coronavirus vaccine will be able to visit the country if they pass a rapid antibody test on arrival.
“The plan includes two options for tourists to enter Israel. One would allow entry with vaccines approved by the FDA/EMA. All they have to do is pass PCR tests. The second option is suitable for tourists who are vaccinated with other vaccines. When entering the country, they will need to undergo serological testing, the press service of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel said.
According to the ministry, antibody testing will be carried out in a specially equipped room at Ben Gurion Airport. The result can be obtained within 15 minutes.
According to Razvozov, if the epidemiological situation with the coronavirus improves, the authorities plan to resume inbound tourism from August 1.
