Russians can enter Albania without a visa until November 15

Before the start of the tourist season, the Albanian authorities introduced a temporary visa-free regime for Russian citizens.

Tourists from Russia can enter Albania without a visa from May 31 to November 15, 2017, and stay in the country for up to 90 days is allowed. A similar visa regime applies to citizens of Belarus.

Albania boasts beautiful beaches and coastal hotels. Tourists also go to Tirana for shopping (including from neighboring Montenegro, which is also visa-free for Russians). From Albania there are ferries to the Italian city of Bari.

In 2016, the visa-free period for Russians lasted from May 15 to November 1.
