The Russians can not abandon the seat car

The travel service OneTwoTrip conducted a survey of users, which found that about 70% of passengers suffer inconveniences in seat cars, but they are not going to abandon them.

1,500 people took part in the survey. 73% of respondents negatively assessed the initiative. 23% of respondents were able to support the refusal of the place card, 4% said they were not interested in it.

35% of people suffer discomfort, but are ready for problems due to lack of funds for a more comfortable trip. Another 33% said that they experience serious discomfort and buy tickets for a placement card only in the absence of an alternative. 32% of respondents do not notice the inconvenience.

Passengers are most annoyed by smells and dirt. The second irritant is the need to share space with a huge number of neighbors. On the third - physical discomfort (tightness, uncomfortable shelves). 78% of respondents agree to move in a placeholder for no more than 24 hours.

91% of respondents support the idea of developing high-speed rail links, sedentary trains (Swallow, Sapsan) as an alternative to a springboard for short-distance travel.

Head of the OneTwoTrip railway service M. Azarov: “Passengers need affordable transport, and the abandonment of seat cars in the near future is really not possible.”
