Russians are not going to abandon tours in Russia for the November holidays

Experts of the travel industry do not expect a wave of cancellations of tours for the November holidays after the recommendation of Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova to abandon trips to other regions, but sales in the near future may subside.

“There are no cancellations or cancellations, and in our assessment, they are unlikely to be. Trends in further sales are contradictory. On the one hand, we see an increase in the number of requests to the Black Sea coast. Requests, but not sales yet. On the other hand, sales dynamics in all other areas have slowed down so far. It takes time – a day, two to understand which direction the roll will be, said Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

During the meeting on Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin supported the proposal of the Russian government to declare non-working days from October 30 to November 7 with the preservation of wages of Russians.
