Russians will be able to come to eight Thai provinces without quarantine
Eight Thai provinces will be available to vaccinated tourists, including Russians, in October.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia reports that the plan to open Bangkok, Chiangamai, Pattaya, the cities of Huahin, Chiang Khan, Koh Kuda, Koh Chang and Koh Samet Islands on the Phuket Sandbox has already been supported by the Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha.
Tourism Minister Pipata Ratchakitprakarna is confident that the launch of the second phase of the country’s opening to vaccinated travelers should take place in early October.
Now tourists who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus can rest without quarantine in Phutet and Koh Samui under the Sandbox program. The provinces of Phangga and Krabi are also available for travelers under the 7+7 scheme.
