Russians will be able to get to Bali in late summer
Indonesian authorities will immunize Bali residents to quickly open the island to tourists.
Commerce Minister Muhammad Lutfi said that with 75 million doses of vaccines, vaccinating the island’s entire population (2 million people) “would not be a problem.” After vaccination, Russians will be able to get to Bali. This can happen at the end of the summer, in August.
The island will open to two groups of tourists: those who have already been vaccinated and those who are ready to get vaccinated on arrival. “That’s our concept,” Lutfi said.
In the coming days, the head of the Indonesian Sanitary Supervision Authority, Penny Lukito, will visit Russia. It should resolve the issue of registration of Sputnik V and its delivery to the state.
