Rostourism called rest in the USSR an example for the all-inclusive system

The head of Rostourism Oleg Safonov said that rest in the Soviet Union can be called a prototype of the all-inclusive program, which has been implemented since the 1990s on foreign destinations.

In general, the Soviet sanatorium-resort format of rest since the 20s of the XX century, the best traditions of which are preserved and developed in Russia, was originally the prototype of the All inclusive system.

Oleg Safonov notes that in modern conditions, the all-inclusive type of recreation is actively working in the Krasnodar Territory, and mainly these accommodation facilities are located in Sochi, Anapa, Tuapse district. According to the head of Rostourism, the Crimean peninsula under the all inclusive scheme provided 20 accommodation facilities.

According to O. Safonov, the analogue of the all-inclusive scheme operates in 1800 sanatoriums in different regions of the Russian Federation.

The head of the department is sure that the percentage of Russian recreational places that work on the all-inclusive system may reach 20% in the coming years. The development plan of the system relates to the "beach" resorts - Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory, but also the possibility of development remains in the hotel system of the Kaliningrad and Astrakhan regions, in the Far East, in the Republic of Dagestan.
