Rosturizm has published a memo for tourists who are abroad
Rostourism has distributed a memo for travelers who are now abroad.
The information concerns European countries, where because of the EU sanctions, flights to our country may or have begun to stop, and because of the closure of airports and airspace in the south of the Russian Federation.
Russians who are in foreign countries where air traffic with the Russian Federation is closed, you need to register in the application "Foreign Assistant" and contact tour operators to settle the route of return, as well as register in the application "Foreign Assistant".
Independent tourists should contact the representative offices of airlines and consulates of the Russian Federation in foreign countries. When on vacation in the regions of Russia, where airports were temporarily closed, Rosturizm also recommends organized tourists to contact tour operators to settle the return route.
"Currently, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is working on the organization of additional railway, bus and air routes," Rosturizm reports.
