Rosturizm recommends Russians to abandon foreign trips

Rosturizm urges Russians, if possible, not to leave the borders of our country due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the world against the background of the spread of coronavirus.

More and more popular tourist countries close the borders and restrict movement in their territories as part of the quarantine due to COVID-19.

Restrictive measures can be taken without notice and tourists are trapped in another country.

According to Rosturizm, there are about 100,000 organized tourists from our country abroad. According to the Foreign Ministry, our compatriots in Montenegro, Moldova and the Philippines faced problems in returning home.

Rostourism recommends that Russian citizens, if possible, temporarily refrain from traveling outside the Russian Federation, Russian organized tourists apply to the tour operator with a request to postpone the journey.

Tour operators are asked not to send citizens on vacation to other countries.

On March 19, it became known that everyone who arrives in Russia from abroad will have to self-isolate for 14 days - this measure applies to Russians who return from holidays.
